Join us on Friday to taste the wines from Maxwell. Situated in McLaren Vale, we will be tasting a line up of reds (yes ..... the weather will eventually cool down for cosy red wine evenings) and also on tasting is their Honey Mead. Mead is a unique class of alcoholic beverage characterized by three ingredients: fermented honey, water and yeast. The first known alcoholic beverage consumed by mankind and is believed to predate wine by nearly three thousand years.
