What's New for October?
Well October is an exciting month for beer in general. Apart from the old and favorite Oktoberfest which runs from Sept 18th - Oct 31st and packed with events, We also have Sydney Craft Beer Week 2015 running for a week from Oct 16th - Oct 25th with a long line of events around Sydney. One in particular will be at The Local Taphouse on Oct 21st. Brewers from Stone Brewing will be there showing off some beers. For the last week of October we will be doing 30% off 6 or more mixed craft beer to help celebrate.
Which brings me to the fantastic Stone beers you will be seeing here @Vine for October also. As before these are not available to all our customers *yet*, so be sure to ask staff about these beers if you want them.

Stone Points Unknown IPA 650ml
Stone/Ecliptic/Wicked Weed Collab. This beer is very complex. The idea of creating a beer blend that’s 25% traditional Belgian tripel (half of which was aged in red wine barrels that had been most recently used for aging tequila) and 75% modern double IPA was inspired by all three brewers’ love of traditional beer styles and pushing the envelope with new beers. The resulting beer drinks like a cross between a double IPA, a barrel-aged barley wine and a Belgian tripel. There are elements of all three and perceptions of the beer change as it warms. 9.5%
