The wines you'll be tasting are:
Chateau Bonnet Reserve 2010 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon from Entre Deux Mers. Lightly oaked, pale gold with sparkling highlights, catches the light beautifully. The nose is a cornucopia of fruits, citrus, yellow and white peach and passionfruit, sunripe and mingling deliciously with acacia blossom
Chateau Larose Trintaudon 2010 Cabernet Merlot From Haut Medoc Plump, fleshy black currant and black cherry fruit intermixed with some cedar wood, vanilla, and incense jumps from the glass of this medium to full-bodied.
Chateau Cap de Faugeres 2007 Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from Cote de Castillon Dark ruby/purple color, abundant black currant, black cherry, spice, and charcoal aromas, a big, dense, rich style.
Chateau Tour de Segur 2010 Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from Lussac Saint Emilion The wine is round, silky and very attractive on the palate. The tannin is soft and the long aftertaste is complemented by understated oak.
Labastide Dauzac 2009 Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from Margaux Berry and coffee aromas follow through to a full body, with silky tannins and a fruity, minerally aftertaste. |
