Hey Friend,
Tell me...what have you heard about human centred leadership?
Not much?
Well, this is what I know. Human centred leadership places your staff at the forefront of every action you take and decision you make.
Taking a human centred approach isn't new, particularly in the customer experience space. For years it's been used to improve processes and behaviours by looking through the eyes of the customer. The more you can see things from the customers perspective the more you can improve their experience.
The same thing can be said about leaders and their staff - the more a leader can understand what inspires, motivates and influences their staff, the better informed they'll be in making decisions that impact them...AND...the better the experience will be for staff.
Being a truly human centred leader involves learning about your staff - asking lots of open and exploratory questions, holding the silence, asking more questions and trying to see the world through their eyes.
And the more you're able to do this the more you'll make decisions that are good for you, them, the business AND the customer.
