Hey Friend
For over five years I've been working with leaders to become dynamic. As many of you know, I'm sooo passionate about this topic that I wrote a book on it! I also have a program that has been running for over five years and a podcast where I speak with experienced leaders about their views and approach to this complex and tricky environment.
This is the stuff I live and breathe...I love it!!
So, this week I wanted to share with you a little excerpt from my book to remind you of the importance of becoming dynamic in how you lead your teams.
THE DYNAMIC LEADER Dynamic leaders are fully invested in the success of their people and the success of their business. They are in complete alignment, and all of their decisions and actions support this. They understand that their individual success is dependent on the success of the people around them.
Dynamic leaders are completely comfortable with giving the credit to the people around them and assuming more than their share of the responsibility when things don’t go as planned. They see failure as an opportunity to learn and grow, and they’ve let go of most of the fear associated with it.
At the dynamic stage, a leader’s workload lightens, because they aren’t putting so much pressure on themselves to deliver individually. They are utilising their resources and focusing on leadership, strategy and building the capabilities of their people.
Once you reach this stage as a leader, you’re operating at or close to your full potential. You are ready for the next opportunity and are starting to set yourself up for the move.
