Hey Friend


As your day begins notice where your attention is! Are you reflecting on what happened yesterday or thinking about what's going to happen today? Or, are you just 'being' in the current moment, making the most of whatever it is you're doing right now?

Wherever your attention is, I want you to consider if it's the most resourceful place to be paying attention or whether a different focus might be more beneficial? Is your current focus helping you or is it hindering you?

Presence was the topic we covered yesterday and there was some great input by everyone about how to become more present in our every day. These ideas included:

  • Meditating/mindfulness.

  • Listening to sounds - noticing your acoustic horizon. 

  • Being creative. 

  • Breathing. 

  • Removing distractions. 

  • Going for a walk. 

  • Listening to music.


The list goes on...

Whatever it is that helps you to remain present, make sure you're being intentional about it and doing it often. Being able to come back to the present will help to keep you focused on what matters and avoid draining your cup unnecessarily.
