How much excess time to you have in your day? It's a rare commodity isn't it! The thing is, we have all the time we need, to do the important things...if we're using it effectively.


A survey conducted by The Development Academy reflects that "82% of people don’t have a time management system. They just use a list, their email inbox or nothing at all." What's your approach?


Not having a system or rhythm to managing our time can mean that we do things without really thinking about whether we should or if now is the right time. This is particularly the case when it comes to staff seeking help and leaders giving answers without teaching them to find it themselves...which creates dependency.


Instead, if we're being intentional about how we invest our time we can support our people to come up with their own solutions and build capability.


When you build capability, you reduce dependency...and when you reduce dependency, you get more time back in your day...and when you have more time, you can focus on the important aspects of leadership - like coaching and goal setting and all the other fun stuff.


And when you do that, you become more dynamic!
