Subject: What are the 2 biggest reasons to create a morning routine?

Hi Friend,

Have you ever thought of the real purpose behind having a morning routine?

I believe the 2 biggest reasons are to build confidence and intention for you day.

As a stay at home dad trying to build a business from home, I would often wake with the kids and my days would become scrambled.

No structure just chaos.

From the time I woke up in the morning till the time I went to bed, I felt like I was in constant servitude mode.

Any other parents feel like this?

I found myself feeling frustrated, not being able to get one or even two of the what seemed like million of things to do off my to do list.

It wasn’t till I made a conscious effort to start my days earlier to take time for myself that things started to change.

With each morning routine I started adding small deposits into what I like to call my confidence account by keeping the small promises made to myself.

Each morning I woke up and set my own intentions for the day by asking these simple questions:

-How am I going to make today the best day ever?

-What do I want to experience today?

-How do I want to feel today?

I was able to add structure and clarity to my day.

No longer did the day control me, I now controlled the day.

Sure, life still throws me curve balls, but that’s also the life I chose as a parent.

I’m just more equipped to handle those curveballs now as a result with a quiet calm, confident demeanour.

A result of being intentional.

A result of being purposeful in word and action.

And as a result of my morning routine.

What’s the biggest reason you have a morning routine?
