Throw Me A Rope

Hi Friend,

I used to be a really good swimmer when I was younger.

In fact, I almost became a lifeguard.

I always wanted to help people and given the opportunity, to save a life if needed.

Luckily I have never had to use my first response skills in that capacity.

However, I still get to save lives.

It's just not in a pool, it's everyday life.

People are just stressed and drowning in other stuff.

Debt, work and toxic relationships.

All the while, just looking for a life line, of any sorts, just to stay a float.

That single pontoon that you can latch on to and ride it to freedom.

The sad part is, many of you drowning will miss the life line thrown to you.

Don't be too proud or stubborn to grab hold.

Others will be so focused on swimming, you will miss the line all together.

While others find the line and hold on for dear life.

A lifeguards job is to help those willing to be helped.

It is our job to throw the line.

Your job is to grab it.
