Hello Friend,

Are you getting excited for summer and the official return of Westerner Days?

It's exciting to have real-life events coming back to town and giving us a chance to get out and reconnect with people like you.

I wanted to let you in on some awesome news about things happening at the salon this week.

One of the reasons that I started my own hair salon was to help provide a place to help great people grow into exceptional, professional stylists.

We are so excited to announce that Alexis , Sherri and Hunter are all getting a promotion on June 13/22 at Sharper Image. They have all put in an incredible amount of work and dedication to achieve these promotions. Here are some of their personal achievements over the last year:

Alexis:

She is a 7yr veteran of Sharper Image and has been a journeyman stylist since 2013. She is a stylist that puts her whole heart into each and every client every time. She wears her heart on her sleeve. She is our Health and Safety Rep, she is certified in Babe extension, Certified in Kashmir Keratin Smoothing System, and looking towards getting her color masters with Wella Color. She has competed in multiple hair competitions and placed in the top 10 in Canada in 2020 for top Colorist!! What an incredible accomplishment! She is a very valuable member of Sharper Image and we are excited to announce that she is moving up a level to Elite Stylist.

Sherri:

She started her career as a stylist with Sharper Image straight out of MC College Summer 2017. She is an extremely motivated woman and that is only one of the many reasons she is such a success behind the chair in the salon. Sherri is one of our Neuma Ambassadors and is certified in Kashmir Keratin Smoothing System and in Babe extensions and is working towards getting her Color Masters with Wella. Sherri is never scared to dive in with two feet into any class, competition, or opportunity that comes her way. Her love for learning continues to push her higher and higher and that is why we are so excited to announce that Sherri is moving up to Elite Stylist.

Hunter:

Hunter came to Sharper Image right after completing her training in Vancouver at Blanche MacDonald in 2018 and has been a force to be reconned with since her arrival to the salon. When she sets a goal for herself and she doesn't just hit them, she smashes them out of the park every time! I am in awe of her determination. Hunter is certified in Babe extensions and is looking to get her Color Masters with Wella Color. Hunter has worked extremely hard towards this promotion to Senior Stylist and we couldn't be happier to have her as a member of our Team!

Congratulations to Alexis, Sherri and Hunter for their achievements! We are so proud of them!!

With this promotion there will be a price change on their services.

PRO TIP: Any service booked in the system before Monday June 13th will be booked with today's prices.

All new appointments booked on, or after June 13th will be with their new pricing.
