COVID-19 Impacts at Silly Goat’s Farm.
The Shaefer family are all doing well currently. We are not having visitors over to see the new, baby goats being born or allowing visitors to stop in and buy products, everything is being done online for the most part. We are practicing all the necessary guidelines that have been established to keep everyone as safe as possible. We are taking this epidemic very seriously. Lucky for us we have a lot of bar soap, liquid soap and lotion to stay clean, germ free and keep moisturized!
We are staying busy here on the farm during all of this. As you might imagine, sales are steady with everyone washing their hands and using their goat milk lotion, so they do not dry out with all the extra washing. It is kidding season and we must take care of the animals everyday no matter what else is going on in the rest of the world. We are still working on the remodeling of the new shop in the afternoons when we get all that regular work done and have some free time, like weekends.
We feel blessed and thank God every day that our business is still doing well when so many others are out of work or having to work from home. We work from home every day, all day so this quarantine thing is just another day in the life for us! It is a good thing we love and like each other!
