Subject: New Student Nightmare

I love receiving your questions.

I received a terrific from David who owns two music schools in Alaska.

“Here’s an important question I’d like your training to address: how would group lessons accommodate the introduction every week of 1 or 2 complete beginners age 5-6? That’s not enough for their own group, and it would seem problematic to include them in a group that’s already been playing for several months.”

Basically… how do you deal with new students? And, will it be a nightmare to add a complete beginner to a pre-existing group?

I love this question!

For 12 years, I have added new students (beginners aged 4-18) to pre-existing groups.

It's not a hassle. It's not an afterthought... It's one of the main reasons why I invented the Successful Group Lessons program.

I wanted to be able to freely mix ANY ability level - including absolute beginners.

In fact, I'll go as far as to say that it works better if you only add in 1 or 2 at a time in 5 person group. It's better for the beginners if they go into an established group.

The training has 13 hours of video on exactly how I teach in this way.

The training also includes observation videos!

You will get 3.5 hours of observation videos of me teaching absolute beginners in the context of an already established group whose other members are several levels ahead of this new student (1 of the videos is me teaching a boy in a group on his very first day in lessons).

There is no other training in the world that supports you this much in your group lessons journey.

If you’d like to learn a no-stress way to teach beginners in group…

Registration for the Winter 2020 class is open until Friday of this week.
I look forward to working with you!

Best,
Daniel
