I have a similar question:
If you could make anything happen in your studio what would it be?
If you could have anything...
Wish anything to happen...
What would it be?
What Teachers Want
Well, as it turns out, I have the ability to find out those answers because 1000s of music studio owners read these emails and watch my videos.
And, every once in a while… I ask them this question!
I’ve received hundreds and hundreds of answers to this question over the years:
What would you most like to see happen in your studio?
Here’s a sampling of the answers directly from these studio owners (you might even recognize one that you left for me if you take that survey!):
Motivated students that practice at home
Want to leave my part-time job and fully devote my time to teaching music
Make more money
Have more students
Increase the quality of lessons
Would like there to be more of a sense of studio community
More personal time
Would like to be able to have a decent income without having to hire others
Work fewer hours for more money
Reduce waiting list / eliminate waiting list
Improve the musicality of students
I’d like to grow as a teacher
Remove “repetitive aspects” of teaching
Students move through their material more quickly
More time to focus on musicianship
More time to focus on technical skills
I could go on… this isn’t even all of them.
This is what studio owners want.
Some of these were mentioned by dozens and dozens of teachers.
For instance… “Increase studio income” was a goal on the wishlist of many of these studio owners.
Now, you might be thinking… OK, I might be able to do some of these. But all of them?
What kind of superhero could pull that off?
Well...
It wouldn’t take a superhero at all.
What’s interesting about that list is… I feel like I’ve checked the box on all of those because of my group lesson program!
And so have 100’s of studio owners who have worked with me in the Successful Group Lessons program.
Not all heroes wear capes.
You don’t have to either.
