Subject: Feedback Friday, Volume 2

Last Friday, I shared with you several pieces of feedback from the Successful Group Lessons community.

In this final email of the week, I wanted to share a few more… so I went into my vault of feedback from SGL alumni… and dug up a few videos!

Not only will you get to hear the real experiences and thoughts and fears and successes of real group teachers… you will get a sense of what it takes to start a flexible, creative group program.

Sarah Coley

Sarah may or may not refer to me as "the guru of piano teaching" in this video (I promise you, this was not prompted).

Good things happen when you trust the process!

Not only did Sarah experience a 100% conversion rate to group, but she has cut her hours IN HALF while making double the money. Her students are "exuberant" and she finally feels like she has command over her business.

Kaitlyn Davidson

Kaitlyn told me that starting group lessons was the best decision she has ever made for her studio and that work doesn’t feel like work anymore. It's also a plus that she now works just four days per week and has increased her hourly revenue from $80 to $200.

In this video, Kaitlyn talks about some bumps experienced along the way and how she really relied on communication with me and the comfort the training structure provided to move forward with each step.

"When somebody else is helping you, it's a lot less scary.. My hand was being held and I could ask any questions that I needed to."

Li-San Ting

Li-San has become our “Magic Emails” spokesperson, as she pioneered the conversion to group with ONE email. She crafted a single, confident email to parents that informed them of the switch to group (price included!)

The result? She made the change and it “just happened.. it was surprising that it was quite easy.”

Li-San talks more in the video about the time she’s saved by switching to group and how she truly enjoys her lessons more. Like Kaitlyn and Sarah, she too is earning up to twice as much money (if not more).

It doesn’t matter if you want a small, medium, or large studio…

Group makes a ton of sense.

One week from today, registration opens for the final Successful Group Lessons training of 2018.

It is possible to get your group program off the ground in time for the new semester (more on that next week).

Join me and dozens and dozens of other group teachers for this final class of 2018.

Mark your calendar for November 23rd.

Have a great weekend!

Best,
Daniel

PS> Have you enjoyed these emails? Do you have a question I can answer? I won’t know unless you tell me.

If you do have a question… Don’t hesitate to ask! I’ll release a Q&A email or video next week… answering all of your questions about group lessons, my program, how I market it, how I teach it.
