Subject: Security First IT Upcoming Price Changes

From the gas pump to the grocery store, everyone is feeling the pinch right now. We have been working extremely hard to hedge against the rising costs of doing business. We have experienced vendor rate hikes from 10% to a whopping 50%!

I am happy to say that although we must implement an inflationary adjustment just to keep up, it will be very modest. I completely understand that a price increase is never ideal and work to avoid one whenever we can.

Here are the increases that will be going into effect on September 1, 2022:

  • The hourly rate is increasing from $150 to $175.

  • Adding user accounts, such as Google & Microsoft, will incur a $25 activation fee.

  • Clients in a month-to-month agreement may see a price increase.

If you are on a 3-year or 5-year agreement, your prices will only change at the timeframe indicated in your agreement, or when your agreement is renewed. Therefore, if you are considering a new agreement term or wish to extend your current agreement term, now is the best time to do it. Reach out to me as soon as possible so we can get this locked in before the end of August.

Because the increase goes into effect on September 1, 2022, all Orders/Agreements made before then will be honored at the previously agreed upon rate.

I appreciate your continued support and business. I know you have options for your IT (Information Technology) and cybersecurity needs and I thank you for partnering with us. Should you have any questions or concerns about this increase, I encourage you to reach out to me at 704-980-8271 or David@SecurityFirstIT.com.

All the best,

J. David Sims

PS - Here are some other things we are working on to bring you greater value and security:

  1. We now offer a 5-year agreement to help hedge against inflation and provide a longer period of static IT costs to improve long-term budgeting and reduce overall costs.

  2. We now offer a new vulnerability management platform.

  3. We now offer a new platform that will help better protect Work-From-Home staff and give management/owners better insight into remote worker’s productivity.

  4. We are rolling out a cybersecurity framework scorecard to help clients better understand their cybersecurity posture and prove they have a formal privacy and security program. This is extremely important for compliance, insurance, and litigation.

  5. We are continuing to work on ideas that will bring greater value to our clients at no additional cost.
