First things first...Happy 4th of July!
OK, now on to today's email.
The hardest part of pushing a boulder is getting it started, right?
But once you get some movement going, momentum kicks in and it requires a lot less effort to keep the boulder in motion than it did to get it started in the first place.
I take the same approach with my clients.
The first 7-14 days of working with a new client are all about getting a little forward momentum going.
The way I do that is simple…
I bring it back to the basics.
I don't tell you that you have hormonal issues (most coaches know nothing about your hormones without seeing bloodwork).
I don't tell you that you have a thyroid issue (same as the hormone scenario).
And I won't tell you to start eating more fruits and vegetables.
Another thing most coaches or experts would have you believe is that your metabolism and body is broken and you need to spend months and months trying to repair it.
Fortunately, you are not broken. And your metabolism does not break.
Which means we can get your body to release body fat with a few simple adjustments to what you’re already doing.
So when I say “a few simple adjustments,” I simply mean sending the RIGHT signal to kick start the fat burning process in a way that is healthy and sustainable.
That’s how we get the boulder rolling.
Once that momentum is created, the results are inevitable.
You’ll see progress within the first 7-14 days.
Many of my clients lose 5-7 lbs in the first 2 weeks alone.
So the question is… how do we send the right signal to your body to get your body (and the extra fat it's carrying) doing what we want it to do?
We start with a simple trick called 'Intermittent Fasting 2.0', in which we don’t change anything about your nutrition plan. We simply change how often and when we eat.
Think of it as diagnosing the root cause of why you’re not progressing the way you want.
Once we have the root cause nailed down, we will make the smallest adjustment that will yield the biggest return.
We don’t completely overhaul what you’re doing right now. We just make one small change.
I’ve found that many of our clients are doing many things well. There are just a few small adjustments that make all of the difference in creating that forward momentum.
