Hey Friend,
I was going to try and come up with some catchy phrase or saying for this email but nothing felt quite right. Many of them were true and possibly thought provoking, but in the end I thought, "Does it really matter?"
What I mean by that is if you, or anyone for that matter, is trying or wanting to lose weight, the decision to act on that isn't going to come from me, or anyone else, spewing a catchy slogan or writing a motivating email.
The decision ultimately comes down to you.
And that goes for everything in life right, not just weight loss?
Quitting alcohol, quitting smoking, learning an instrument, etc.
Nobody will make you do those things.
The desire to do any of those things has to come from you.
You have to want it badly enough.
"If you want something badly enough you'll find a way, if not, you'll find an excuse".
I couldn't help myself, I knew I'd find a way to get a quote in here somewhere. :)
But how true is that?
I think it's spot on and it's true everytime with everything in life.
Relationships, money, health, etc.
But I think it might be most applicable to weight loss.
Think about how many people want to lose weight and don't do it.
What are the 'excuses' they use as to why they can't lose weight?
No time, they love food, they don't know what to do, they enjoy their weekends drinking and eating, etc.
The bottom line is that they don't want to lose weight badly enough.
That's the 100% truth.
If they did, they would push those excuses to the side and get it done.
I don't know if you fall into that category, but if you do, I'd love to help you out.
But the thing is Friend, YOU have to want it.
It can't come from me telling you that you need to do it or that you should do it.
YOU have to want it more than anyone or anything else.
I have the world's greatest weight loss program. Nothing comes close. I have over 2,000 people who have lost a substantial amount of weight on my program. And they've turned it into a lifestyle.
The one thing each of them have in common is that they wanted to lose weight and get in better shape more than anything else.
No more excuses for those people.
What about you?
Are you that serious about losing weight?
Do you want to shed those 'extra' 5, 10, 15+ pounds badly enough?
I sent out an email the other day about my upcoming 8 week weight loss program that's starting on September 11th.
I have 7 sign ups so far.
Once 20 or so spots are filled, that's it.
I'm also incentivizing people to sign up now before I raise the price.
I'm starting with a low price for all of the quick action takers (those are my kind of people :), and then the price will increase slightly as the start date draws closer.
So what's it going to be Friend?
Do you want to lose weight badly enough or will you continue to go through life justifying it with excuses like you don't have time or gaining weight is normal when you get older.
I hope you're the former and not the latter.
If so, reply to this email and let's lock in your spot.
56 days is going to come and go no matter what, right?
Why not get rid of those damn 10, 20, 30+ pounds that have been making you unhappy for the last few months, years, etc.?
Let's get this done!
Reply back and let me know you're in.
It will be the best decision for your weight and health that you've ever made.
I guarantee it.
Kevin
