Hey Friend,
So, I had 2 coaching calls the other day with 2 women that are just finishing up their 8 weeks with me and my Built To Fast Program.
One woman lost 13 lbs and the other lost 9 lbs.
They both feel great, feel lighter and they're looking forward to continuing with this as their lifestyle and shedding even more pounds.
What struck me as funny was both of them said the same thing; "I could have lost more weight, but...."
And the "but" was similar for both of them.
Summertime, vacations, weddings, BBQ's on the weekends, etc.
And I had to stop both of them and say, "Wait a minute, that's exactly the point."
It's not about being perfect...it's not about not being able to splurge a little on vacation or during a BBQ over the weekend.
That's what life is.
But the great part about all of this is that they were both able to lose a good amount of weight, while STILL being able to splurge a little and enjoy themselves and not have to eat veggies and tofu on their vacations or at the weddings they each went to.
That Friend, is what makes my Built To Fast program a lifestyle.
It's NOT a diet.
I never gave them meal plans to follow.
I never had them counting calories or tracking their macros.
I never told them to weigh their food (that is insane for those out there who think they need to weigh their food in order to lose weight).
What did they do?
They fasted a little bit.
They changed their eating habits a little bit.
Nothing crazy.
And certainly nothing that turned their life upside down.
It's just real world weight loss.
The way it used to be before we were surrounded by food everywhere and told that we need to eat every 3 hours or we're going to wither away or slow down our metabolism (that one is so not true).
It's giving our bodies and our minds and our digestive systems a break from food and giving it time to really get into some fat burning (how can your body truly burn fat if you are feeding it every 3 hours?).
As I've said, weight loss is not rocket science.
In fact, it's actually quite simple.
Take a break from eating every once in a while and when you do eat, try and eat as much real food as possible and not so much processed, fake food.
That's kind of it in a nutshell.
Don't make it any more complicated than that.
Leave the complicated equations and the charts and graphs to the big box companies and the sheep that follow them.
And get started on this great lifestyle without a care in the world while getting lean and never wondering again how you will keep the weight off.
Becasue remember, we were all Built To Fast.
Kevin
P.S. I'm talking on 3 more people this month for my Built To Fast program. If you'd like to chat about how the program works and how I can help you, reply back to this email and we'll set up a time to talk. And check out what these ladies had to say about their experience,
