Hey Friend,


  WOW, I just got back in from doing a cold plunge about 30 mins ago.


  The water temperature in my cold tub was 38 degrees. That's COLD!


  Do I love it? Can't say that I do just yet, but I'm 'warming up' to it (get it???).


  Last week when the water temp was closer to 50 I was able to stay in for a full minute, but today just 30 seconds. Not only was the water freezing, but the outside temperature was pretty cold and it was very windy.


  A rough combination for someone like me who doesn't really like the cold to begin with.


  I need to get a sauna!!!


  That's next on the list.


  So you might ask yourself, why would I do this if I don't really like it?


  And the short answer to that is that I know it's healthy and I believe it's going to benefit me in the long run.


  There are numerous studies showing how beneficial it is for your recovery, for keeping fat off, for lowering inflammation, for your mental toughness, etc.


  So my thought is, "suck it up now, to reap the rewards later".


  Remember, not everything in life can be instantly gratifying.


  Sometimes the best things for you are not.


  Which leads me to my email today.


  I came across an article last night that I linked to below and I wanted to share it with you.


 It has to do with fasting and ageing.


  In other words, what impact does fasting have on your body and mind as you get older?


  This kind of stuff fascinates me Friend.


  Anything I can do to increase my health and well-being and help me to age gracefully without having to take medications or be put in a nursing home or hospice...I'm all for it.


  And hopefully you are too.


  If you aren't aware, fasting is getting a lot of publicity lately as more and more studies are being done and more and more doctors and biologists are understanding the benefits of it.


  You might also not be aware that fasting is the foundation or the "core" of my F.A.T. Method program.


  And the more and more evidence that comes out to support it's efficacy, I LOVE IT!
