Hey Friend,
So, the Christmas rush is over. And Hanukkah comes to an end tonight.
What are we left with?
Gifts we don't need.
New phones, ipads, purses, sweaters, boots, socks, underwear, etc.
I'm not going to ramble on about how none of that really matters, even though it really doesn't. :)
As I get older. I realize how important health is.
And a close second to that is how you look and feel.
I would challenge you to get down to your idal weight and tell me that you don't feel better and carry yourself differently. A little more of a 'skip' in your step, a little more confidence, and ultimately, a little happier, if not MUCH happier
I'm not saying you can't be overweight and be a happy person. I just think you'd probably feel a little better and happier if you were at your ideal weight.
And there's nothing wrong with that Friend. Nothing at all.
We've been brainwashed by society telling us that BIG is beautiful. To be proud of the rolls on our bodies, to embrace shopping for XXL clothes, etc.
And guess what, I'm all for that if that truly makes you happy. I really am.
But I don't think for a second that someone who needs to lose 30+ pounds, is actually HAPPY that they are 30 pounds overweight.
I didn't want to go off on a tirade, but seems I'm in the middle of that now.
I'll stop.
