Let's start the week off by talking about quick fixes.
Pills, powders, potions, and most recently drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy, etc.
These quick fixes I actually do have a problem with.
And I'll explain why.
I think it’s a bit risky to rely on a medication that suppresses your appetite, has some unpleasant side effects, and has been shown to result in a significant loss of muscle mass.
I’m certainly not here to tell you what to do.
Everybody makes their own choices and does what is right for them.
The one issue I have with most quick fixes is the unknown and the negative side effects and what kind of damage they can do long term.
But the other really big issue I have is this....
Drugs or no drugs, you need to learn how to maintain your results.
Anyone can lose weight.
Not everyone can keep it off.
Keeping it off is easier when your habits that support your goals start to exist on autopilot.
You choose quality food without a care in the world. You move your body because it feels way better when you do. You fast for certain periods of time to let your body detox and let autophagy kick in.
Your body reflects your decisions. And your decisions reflect your commitment to yourself.
I can show you how to reprogram your mind so that your actions align with your goals. So you can completely opt out of the all or nothing thinking. So you can wave goodbye to the up and down cycle and frustrations that comes with calories counting, macro tracking, etc.
And you can say hello to a new way of thriving. A way that doesn’t involve using a calculator to keep track of your meals or prepping all of your meals on Sunday for the upcoming week.
A way that feels natural and, dare I say… enjoyable?!?!
