  I wouldn't. But I think many fitness trainers and "experts" tell you that because with their programs you are not able to lose more than 2 lbs a week. There's a popular weight loss company that sells "weight loss" foods (what a joke!) that tells you that on their plan you will lose an average of 12 pounds in 12 weeks.


  HAHAHAHA!!


  12 pounds in 12 weeks...that's 1 pound per week! So someone who, let's say, needs to lose 30 pounds is going to lose 12 pounds in 3 months. Greaet for them, but in my opinion, that person can and should be losing weight faster than the rate of 1 pound per week.
