Hey Friend,
I hope you're doing well and getting ready for Thanksgiving.
Speaking of which, Thanksgiving is a holiday that, for the most part, revolves around eating. In fact, aside for giving thanks, that's really all there is to do. There are no presents to open, there are no easter baskets or eggs to search for, etc.
So what will you do this Thursday with your eating. Will you plan to eat until you're content or will you be holding back because you're on a diet?
If you're holding back because you're on a diet, I think that's a big mistake. Let me explain.
Eating a little more than normal, especially during the holidays, is what life is all about. You're not going to get fat if you eat a little more on Thanksgiving. Just like you're not going to get fat if you eat a little more than normal on Christmas or Easter.
Those are just a few days out of the year. It's what happens and how you eat on ALL of the other days of the year. Think about that for a second, because it's 100% true.
So go ahead on Thursday and have a second helping of stuffing, or mashed potatoes. Have dessert. Have a few drinks, etc. Just be sure to get right back on track on Friday.
*Disclaimer---if you don't feel like eating a lot, by all means don't. This message is mainly for the people who want to eat more than normal but are afraid to because they are afraid of gaining weight.
That's it Friend. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I'll speak to you soon.
Kevin
