Hey Friend,
There was a time in my life when you could lure me into any body transformation program that promised lightning-fast results.
The faster, the better.
I once followed a plan that consisted of eating 6 times a day (I was trying to get "buff") and then one that had me working out 7 days a week (and 3 times a week I did 2 workouts per day)!
The sad part is...I actually paid a lot of money for both of those programs.
And they “worked.”
Kind of.
I achieved decent results. Not as great as they promised, but decent.
They forgot to tell me I would lose the results twice as fast as I gained them, if I didn't keep doing what I was doing.
The irony when I look back is that trying to shortcut the process is actually the thing that made my results take forever.
The hardest part for me is that I ended up with such a warped sense of the health and fitness world that I now work in
Which basically means that my B.S. radar is a lot more in tune now than it was 15-20 years ago.
Oh well...there’s no do-over button, so I have to work around it.
I just wish more people would understand the importance of the tried and true practices of weight loss.
Without even getting into the specifics… the appealing part for me is just being able to flick a switch and be able to lose weight.
I like food, especially good food, just as much as the next person.
I also hate being out of shape and feeling and looking like a typical "older" man with a beer belly and no muscle definition.
So I have spent years building my physique to be able to stay lean while still being able to eat pizza, nachos, and even ice cream.
And even though my unconventional weight loss style is still not "mainstream", it’s making its way to the public more and more each day.
Which is why I’m able to lose weight and drop a few pounds whenever I want.
And it’s the exact reason my clients can do the same.
When weight loss isn’t working....I would bet all my money that it’s 100% a food issue.
You can call it hormones, gut health, or whatever else you want, but the truth is…
All roads lead back to your eating.
What, when, how much, etc.
THAT’S what decides if you lose weight, maintain your weight or gain weight.
When you can figure that out, weight loss happens like moths to a flame.
Work AGAINST your eating, and your weight will cling to your body like...the weight that's clinging to your body!
The good news is, you can turn your eating plan into an on/off switch for weight loss with a few simple steps.
