Hey Friend,
So, I was talking with one of my clients this morning on our weekly zoom chat. She's doing really well so far and she has no problem with fasting.
She mentioned how doing 24 hour fasts are pretty easy for her and she's going to be upping that to something beyone 24 hours next week.
Great!, I told her.
And then she mentioned exercise and how she wants to start exercising again regularly and she knows how important strength training is.
I said, GREAT again!
But one thing I wanted to make clear to her is that exercise comes in second place as far as weight loss is concerned.
If you gave me a client to work with and he/she wanted to lose 50 lbs and I had to choose between designing an exercise program for them or tweaking their diet/nutrition...I would take the diet tweak 7 days a week and twice on Sunday (bonus points if you know where that line comes from :)
You see Friend, exercising is great for your bones, great for your cardiovascular health, great for lowering blood pressure and great for building lean muscle (which will have an impact on fat burning and weight loss, but it's very minor).
But what you eat, when you eat, how much you eat, and most importantly...when and how often YOU DON'T EAT!, is going to be the biggest needle mover in terms of how much weight you lose.
To drive home my point, go to any commercial gym on a weekday morning. Or any day or time for that matter.
How many people do you see exercising that are easily 20+ pounds overweight?
And how many of those people are "regular" gym goers?
MANY of them.
If that's not a clear indication on how exercise is not a big factor for weight loss, then I don't know what is.
Again, I'm not saying exercise is a bad thing. It's a wonderful thing! I recommend that everyone does it. Especially strength training.
What I am saying though is, don't blame your lack of weight loss on the fact that you're not exercising.
If you'd like help with a nutrition plan, an exercise plan and basically a health and wellness plan that is going to get you looking and feeling better than you have in a long time, then I'm your man.
Reply back to this email and I can get you started as soon as you're ready.
I only have 2 openings at the moment.

P.S. Take a look at what Diann said after going through my 8 week program with me: “I am 5’3”, 57 years old, and was struggling with menopause weight gain, and a constant cycle of inflammation and bloating. This program taught me HOW and WHEN to eat. After 8 weeks in the program, I lost 17 pounds. After 15 weeks, I have lost 26 pounds and still going! It has provided me with tools that have truly changed my life. As a bonus, I am more energetic, and my inflammation and bloating have been greatly reduced. It is not just about losing weight, if you want to improve your overall health and wellbeing you have to try this out. I did not anticipate having the success I had and I can’t recommend it enough.”
