Russia has carried a massive cruise missile strike across Ukraine over the last 7 hours targeting energy and military infrastructure. Missiles fired from the Black Sea and Crimea overflew Moldova to reach targets in western Ukraine.

Emergency power shutdowns are in effect across the country.

Elements of this strike severed the remaining power line(s) between the nuclear plant and the national grid.

13 diesel generators are active on the site to provide for basic power needs and cooling functions.
