"U.S. Embassy Port Moresby is aware of the recent earthquake in Port Vila, Vanuatu.


The U.S. Embassy in Port Vila has sustained considerable damage and is closed until further notice.


Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this earthquake and the U.S. government will work with closely with our partners in Vanuatu.


If you are a U.S. citizen that needs assistance in Vanuatu, please contact the U.S. Embassy in Port Moresby at ConsularPortMoresby@state.gov .
