Event: Clashes with the police are ongoing and expanding beyond the original area of the earlier shooting at 16, rue d’Enghien in the 10th arrondissement of Paris (see prior Security Alert). Tear gas is being used to contain violence. Avoid the area. Additional demonstrations may occur through the weekend.

Actions to Take:

• Avoid the areas of clashes and areas with significant police activity
  
  
• Exercise caution if in the vicinity of large gatherings or protests
  
  
• Monitor local media for updates and sites of additional demonstrations
  
  
• Be aware of your surroundings
