The U.S. Embassy in China has issued its second alert in two weeks over unexplained health issues that have prompted the evacuation of a number of USGOV employees assigned to the southern city of Guangzhou.
The new alert urges Americans to seek medical help in the event they suffer any "
unusual, unexplained physical symptoms or events, auditory or sensory phenomena, or other health concerns."

Subscribers are reminded that last year in Cuba, 24 US and 10 Canadian diplomats, as well as their family members, fell victim to mysterious "acoustic attacks" resulting in injuries resembling brain trauma.The victims associated the onset of their symptoms with "unusual sounds or auditory sensations." .
In the previous incidents, senior USGOV officials have speculated the victims had been targeted by some form of "acoustic weapon."
