US Army Japan increases Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Level to CHARLIE, indicating a substantial risk and sustained community transmission of COVID-19.

Supplemental Info:

All inbound USFJ personnel arriving currently required to undergo mandatory 14-day Restriction of Movement (ROM) and also undergo PCR testing prior to release from ROM.
Expect cancellation of in-person gatherings, incl school, daycare, and restricted ability to travel.
Prepare for limited access to supplies and services, including severely restricted access to military installations.
