Throughout Saturday and Sunday nearly 2,000 officers from the Met and other UK forces will be on duty across central London as part of a major policing operation to secure Armistice and Remembrance events, as well as increasingly violent pro-Palestine demonstrations.

The US Embassy has issued a Demonstration Alert warning Americans in-country to avoid crowds and increase their awareness.


US Embassy personnel have been instructed to avoid the Embassy on Saturday, November 11, due to the demonstration.
