The Consulate General of Israel in New York and the Ministry of Culture and Sport have a long planned celebration in Times Square on June 3 to honor the State of Israel’s 70th anniversary. A short time ago the Israeli government notified the Consulate General of Israel in New York that officials government representatives and diplomats have been prohibited from attending the event due to the high risk of terrorist attack.
