Location: In the vicinity of the Rudolfinum Theater and Jan Palach Park

Event: As of 3:40 pm on December 21, 2023 the Embassy has limited information regarding an active shooter in the vicinity of the Rudolfinum Theater and Charles University Philosophy Faculty building near Jan Palach Park. You are advised to avoid this area of Prague.

Actions to Take:

• Avoid the area of the event.

• Plan for traffic delays and disruption to public transportation.

• Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity.

• Monitor local media for updates.

• Keep a low profile.
