Supplemental Info:
As explained in our alert on 11/24, angry motorists — known as “gilets jaunes” ("yellow vests" - named after the yellow vests required in every vehicle in France in case of a road accident), have been engaging in increasingly violent demonstrations protesting government efforts to target automobile pollution and implement environmentally friendly fiscal policies. The net result is significantly higher prices for petrol and diesel fuel.
Some protests have drawn tens of thousands of participants.
These protests are typically held on weekends.
The Islamic State is both threatening attacks in France, as well as attempting to compel followers to launch strikes on the large crowds of protesters.
The four posters below have received wide circulation on social media in the past 24 hours.

In the poster below, the English translation of the French statement reads as follows:
O SUPPORTER OF THE CALIPHATE IN EUROPE
AND MORE PARTICULARLY IN FRANCE
The caligraphic logo at the top is standard branding of the Islamic State.
For clarity, the Islamic State's use of the catchphrase "Just Terror" refers to terrorism being justified, morally right or fair in response to coalition war efforts in the Middle East and N. Africa.
