The following statement was issued a short time ago by the Korean Central News Agency:

"The U.S. is running amok by introducing under our nose the targets we have set as primary ones. The U.S. should expect that it would face unimaginable strike at an unimaginable time."

The threat comes as S. Korean and U.S. naval forces are staging massive joint drills in waters off the Korean Peninsula. These exercises include the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (with the USS Theodore Roosevelt enroute), as well as the Ohio-class guided-missile submarine USS Michigan.
