Evacs started in the Keys and have been working their way North and in coastal areas in a planned manner. This order for the mandatory evacuation of Miami Beach is expected to be expanded to the broader Miami metro area later on 9/7 or 9/8.
Fuel supplies are rapidly disappearing in S. Florida in advance of the storm. Fill up soon. There is no "shortage" per se, just mass buying and a narrowing window for replenishment prior to the arrival of the storm.
