In a string of overnight messages on Twitter, Khamenei called on the Muslim world to unite against America and "other domineering powers," and said President Trump’s recent boasting that some Arab regimes would collapse within a week without US support was a “humiliation.”

Khamenei's comments come as a deadline looms next month for President Trump to decide on ending the Obama Administration's nuclear deal which lifted many western sanctions in exchange for curbs on Iran's nuclear program.

It is highly likely that Khamenei's comments will be leveraged by Islamist terror organizations worldwide to rally anti-Western sentiment.
