The graphic below is the latest released over the last several days threatening locations across Europe and the U.S., including London, Amsterdam, New York and San Diego. 

Many past attacks associated with the Islamic State have been preceded by such threats, which serve to inspire and energize their base of followers, as well as generate fear.
