The funeral for Qasem Soleimani is currently underway in his hometown or Kerman, Iran. hundreds of thousands are in attendance. During a eulogy by IRGC commander Maj.-Gen. Hossein Salami stated the following:

"Let me say the final word at the outset. We will take revenge. We will take a severe, regrettable revenge from those who have assassinated martyr Soleimani."

He went onto state the following:

"We will 'set ablaze' places that U.S. supports." This was followed by the crowd chanting: "Death to Israel."

"There is no safe place for the U.S. in the region and the assassination of Soleimani is the beginning of the end of its presence there."

"Look, listen, pay attention, I said, calm down, we'll take revenge."
