Supplemental Info:
Hurricane Irma Situation Update - Sept 7, 2017
According to the National Hurricane Center, "the environment along the future track of Irma is favorable for the hurricane to maintain most of its current intensity, although some fluctuations are likely due to eyewall replacement cycles which are difficult to predict. There are no obvious reasons why Irma should not remain a powerful major hurricane for the next 3 days while it is heading for Florida or its adjacent surroundings."

National Considerations
Hurricane Irma will likely have a progressive, dramatic impact on all forms of transport in the southeast, and potentially along a majority of the eastern seaboard. This includes roads, freeways, rail and air transport. If you are flying to or from anywhere on the East Coast, you are well advised to maintain contact with your airline for changes in flight scheduling and cancellations.
