Mark Steven Domingo, a U.S. Army veteran, was plotting a large-scale terror attack in Los Angeles as revenge for the mass shootings at two mosques in New Zealand, according to court papers released today.

"After considering various attacks – including targeting Jews, churches, and police officers – Domingo decided to detonate an IED at a rally scheduled to take place in Long Beach this past weekend."

Other targets included Huntington Beach, the port of Long Beach and the Santa Monica Pier.
