North Korean leader Kim Jong-un lashed out at the U.S. in his New Year address, claiming all of the USA is within range of his country's nuclear missiles.

"The US cannot declare war against us. The entire US territories are within our firing range and the nuclear missile button is right there on my desk."

Kim also called for the mass-production of nukes and missiles, as well as putting them into service in the year ahead.

His comments were broadcast on state TV a short time ago.
