| This AlertsUSA daily briefing skill is intended to be a free news service available to any Alexa user.
For clarity, this Alexa skill will NOT share SMS alert content sent through the normal AlertsUSA service for mobile devices.
The point of releasing this free daily news update is to increase brand awareness and ultimately drive new subscribers to the alert service, as well as the Threat Journal newsletter. Other Alexa skills we are preparing DO include the ability to receive core AlertsUSA SMS messages via Alexa, as well the Amazon Fire TV Stick (i.e., having the SMS messages display in a small window on your television).
For those wondering, the Google Home version of this news service will be available shortly, as will a standard email version of this daily news update.
Our Request
It would help us greatly if you could try the new Alexa skill for a few days and send us your thoughts. Try to break it. A kind review on the Amazon site would also be graciously appreciated if you like it.
