Solar United is a newly formed Consortium consisting of four Madagascar-based NGOs - SEED Madagascar (us 😁), Solar Aid, Money for Madagascar and Feedback Madagascar. Collectively, our goal is to bring climate-friendly infrastructure to rural communities across the country.

Roughly, just 10.9% of the rural population in Madagascar have access to basic electrical services. Solar technology addresses not just environmental and health concerns associated with typically used kerosene lamps, but also education and livelihood limitations, allowing students, teachers and wider community members to work beyond sunlight hours.
