Closings Over the past 2 weeks the trend continued of buying older homes to tear down or remodel. The average home sold for under $1.3 million and $344 per square foot. These numbers are more impressive than they seem on the surface, given the age of the homes -- weighted average year of construction was 1975. New Listings
9 new listings ranging from just under $1.3 million to over $3.5 million. Just two that I would recommend seeing sooner than later:
Large Home on Golf Course at Bargain Price 9,000+ square foot home overlooking the 17th green of Camelback Country Club. Grand entry leads to banquet size dining room. The home's 5 bedrooms are all en-suite, and there's also a guest casita. This home is offered at just $308 per square foot, a lot of house for the money.
Remodeled Contemporary 22 foot windows in the great room that opens to a world class kitchen with views of Camelback Mountain and city lights. An interesting contemporary home offered at just under $2.1 millon.
