Closings Unable to publish last week, we're reporting on 2 weeks of data today. There were $26.2 million in closings over the period. Buyers continue to snap up older homes to tear down or remodel. Hence an average age of construction of 1988, and an average price per square foot of $326. Listings There are a whopping 40 new home listings ranging from just under $638k to $10.9 million. This is over a 2 week period, but still that's quite large -- representing an almost 10% increase in homes for sale. The buyers are buying, though, and quality moves quickly -- 4 of the new listings are already under contract.
