We have an embarrassment of riches this
week, with 17 new listings including more
than usual that "make the cut."  The rising
prices are bringing out the quality, as
sellers who wouldn't sell at firesale prices
are willing to test the market once again.

Closings Last Week
Closings still a bit sluggish right after the
Thanksgiving holiday, but well up from
the week before at $8.25 million.  There
were 7 homes sold at an average just under
$1.2 million.  The average price per square
foot was $296, based on a broad mix of
age and size.

This week's 17 new listings really are
an exceptional lot, with many quality homes.
I encourage you to look at them all.
