Most of the 9 remaining homes are of so-so quality
or mispriced. Hence, only 2 recommendations:
George Christiansen Design on PV Country Club
This 6,600 sq ft home overlooks the 6th fairway of
the Paradise Valley Country Club. Santa Barbara
inspired architecture and elegant interior design,
guest house, and over an acre lot. This home is
"turn key" -- and it ought to be at the asking price
of $3.9 million. Though the price per square foot
is on the higher end, the quality and location are
worth a premium.
Ultra Contemporary Home
This is "love it or hate it" style contemporary style.
It's quite hard and stark, more like what one would
see in Malibu typically than here in Arizona. For
those that appreciate contemporary, however, it's
worth a look. The asking price is under $1.4 million,
a range in which the pickings have become slim
these days. The big problem is the location: it's
not right on Shea, but it's not that far off either. So
the home does deserve a haircut on the price as
a result.
