We were working with Leanne Italie, the AP entertainment reporter for her just filed, nationally syndicated story: "What now? Facing life without the entertainment world."

As "Work From Home, Stay At Home," and "#SocialDistanceStuffToDo" are trending, Leanne mentioned what is happening at our photo scanning business. Most orders are now due to people stuck at home, looking for long procrastinated family projects. Beyond watching Netflix, many are revisiting their OWN PICTURES -- to bring families together during this alarming crisis?

We are getting messages like this from Peggy in Darnestown, Maryland: "I am planning to use my scanned photos to build several Shutterfly books and since we are all staying at home these days thought this would be a great project to work on."

The challenge for us and other companies who are benefiting from a spike in orders during this national calamity is how to give back? As 30-year consumer advocates, we are working on this advocacy project: "Once Safe, Why we must get back on airplanes for ‘economic patriotism.’"

Because some have rush orders that cannot be delayed (memorial services, etc.), we are keeping our walk-in online scheduling desk open for emergency projects.

There are no interruptions to our photo scanning operation. All online orders and fulfillment remain as is.
