Have you ever heard of the Marketing Rule of 7?

The Marketing Rule of 7 states that a prospect needs to see or hear your marketing message at least 7 times before they'll take action and buy your product or service.

So my question to you is, do you have a marketing system in place that ensures your potential clients are seeing your marketing messages at least 7 times?

Thanks to the internet and the automated tools available to us these days it's really pretty simple to set up this type of marketing for your business.

You want to create a sort of digital eco-system where new potential clients can enter, and once they're in your digital eco-system they will then start to automatically see your marketing messages.

And by consistently seeing your marketing messages they will start to educate themselves on why YOU are the hypnotherapist that can help them quit smoking, or relieve anxiety, etc.

Let me give you an example of what this could look like…


Targeted Facebook Ads:

You run a simple Lead Ad on Facebook that has fed up smokers in your area entering their details to apply for your quit smoking program. (This could really be any niche, we're just focusing on Quit Smoking)

At this point they become a potential smoking cessation client (a lead)…


Automated Emails:

When these fed up smokers opt in to your Lead Ad their details will be added to your email autoresponder, and they will start to receive the automated emails you've set up.

The purpose of these emails is to get these potential clients to Know, Like, and Trust you, and to also educate them on why YOU are the go to hypnotherapist that can help them quit.

People buy from people they Know, Like, and Trust!


Automated SMS:

When these fed up smokers opt in to your Lead Ad their details will also be added to your SMS List, and they will receive an automated SMS that encourages them to take an action such as book a call with you, or watch a video, etc.

You can set up multiple automated SMS to follow up over time as well.


Retargeting Ads:

You can also add these leads to a Custom Audience inside Facebook and set up Retargeting Ads to basically follow them around the internet, and show them testimonials, etc.

The purpose of these retargeting ads is to also get these potential clients to Know, Like, and Trust you, and to educate them on why YOU are the go to hypnotherapist that can help them quit.


The Phone:

All of this automation is great but at the end of the day it pays to just get on the phone and see if they're a good fit, and then sell them your quit smoking program.


The End Result:

Once you have this system in place you will have fed up smokers in your area entering their details to apply for your quit smoking program, and from their they will start to receive emails, SMS, and retargeting ads all educating them on why YOU are the solution they've been looking for.

Hypnotherapists who don't have this type of automated marketing system in place are being left behind, and there is a good chance their competitors do!
